Save Drifting in Atlanta: SIGN THIS PETITION!

    Need your help, guys.

    Drifting in the southeast was born at Turner Field in Atlanta. As of today, it is no longer due to noise ordinance that was passed earlier today. The local Home Owners Association that we've been fighting for the last few years finally got us shut down. A petition has been started and you don't have to be an Atlanta resident to sign it.




    If you are a fan of grassroots motorsports, we encourage you to help us reverse the ruling so can find a middle ground with the HOA.

    I'm sorry but when was it legal to make noise in another country such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Japan and other countries but now this track is getting shut down from "Noise Ordinance" from just 100 cars rather than 1,000,000 weapons? Lol problems these days just sound more ridiculous, or is it just me? And I signed the petition.

    Unfortunately, race tracks get shut down because of residents complaining about noise ALL THE TIME. :(

    You may not remember this, but there was a Northern Cali drift track that was shut down a few years back for the same reason. I really hope that this does NOT happen to Turner Field. Turner Field is one of the most fun places to watch drifting in Atlanta. It's right there in downtown, and tons of people stop to watch. The backdrop is awesome too.

    A similar situation has happened here in Northern Ireland with a circuit called Nutts Corner. It has recently opened up again although i think drifting is still banned. We have very very few proper tracks here in Ireland hence why you see alot of or drifting in car parks and the like.
