Little highlights video of our recent trip to Road Atlanta with Fresh Roots Drifting. It was my first time out to Road Atlanta, and was definitely well worth the trip.

Ben Williams was driving the Pro-Am, and we were hoping for a good weekend. He didn't end up qualifying, but the trip was great regardless and a learning experience for sure... for all of us. It was my first chance to shoot video at a Forumla D event -- although my coverage is limited to the Pro-Am. Really looking forward to getting out to another Formula D event soon to shoot, and ready for Ben to rock out at the next event.

Thanks for sharing your video, Jon! Where are you from, anyway? Are you planning to go to the FD event at West Palm Beach?

BTW, Ben if you're reading this... your FC looks GOOD!!! Keep at it, man! Best of luck to you at future events!

Terrific Video Jon! Road Atlanta is one of my faves! There are a few great road racing circuits in the US with great elevation changes, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Road America, Mid Ohio and Road Atlanta--any and all would make for very challenging conditions for the drifters. Keep up the good work!

I haven't been to Road America or Mid Ohio yet... I'd love to check them both out sometime!

It would be my pleasure to show you Road America anytime, Antonio! It's my Disneyland.

    Jon,

This is a great video. I think Ben's narrative plus the variety of video segments told a story that captivated me. I rarely have the patience to watch a video through to its end, but I did this time. You wouldn't think this was saying much but I probably watched 30+ youtube and vimeo videos this week for work. I definitely like your art and hope you continue to share with us in the future!

Thanks to all of you for the awesome responses!
Antonio, we're all based out of Virginia - specifically, around the Richmond area. It doesn't look like I'll be making my way to West Palm Beach though, it's a bit of a hike and I'm rather broke! Ha. Really hoping to make it out to New Jersey in June, but we'll see. Trying to score a media pass for it.

Brandon, I'll definitely work on getting a build thread up sometime!

thanks guys! I just had another bump in the learning curve with the rotary motor. she is not sitting on my operating table waiting to see what caused it to lock up a week ago. So we will see the damage later today, but the motor being out will allow me to clean up a few things and make some additional upgrades with the help from Goopy and Turblown Engineering.
