Rusted beginnings
My name is Tyler Clayton. I have been drifting since around 2005. Friends had clued me into Japanese drift magazines and VHS tapes and yes, Initial D which I still love, which got me really excited to see it first hand. Then Formula Drift came to Road Atlanta and I bought tickets. After not even half a day of watching the tandem battles I was trying to figure out how to get my hands on something RWD. That's where it all started. Now 7 years later I am in my third S13 shell and have been up and down the east coast going to drift events.
The basic rundown is I wanted a car that I didn't actually like so if it got wrecked I wouldn't care. I found an S13 that was already swapped with an SR20DET for fairly cheap and a thte time I thought it was rather ugly, thus perfect for me to learn with. Well over the time it took me to get nice and comfortable in the s13 I ended up really liking them. The fact that parts were so readily available didn't hurt either. So on to the build......

This MR2 build has been 20 years in the making. My brother purchased it second hand back in '91. While the car was under his ownership he did a mild build on the engine; a ported head, HKS cams, TRD headers, HKS "Dummy CAT", an HKS Exhaust, and a pair of 44mm Mikuni Carburetors.

Hi my name is Mike, I live in Boston, MA and grew up in RI. I have actually owned this car for near ten years, and it has def been through its share of stages. It was my daily driver for many years and I got more serious about it a few years ago. I am currently building a 2.0L B18c using the same cylinder head off my previous stroked b16 setup. Here is how it was setup before the recent tear down. Continue reading...

I recently discovered the Isis Performance Exhaust for the 2013 Scion FR-S. I spent some time installing it and A LOT of time testing it. When it comes to performance on the FR-S its definitely known for its handling around the bends. The power of the FR-S has been somewhat criticized since its release, however I think its more than enough for street. But extra power is always a nice place to start. Continue reading...

Season is over! winter build time! My name is David Bellomo & im a 21 year old Toyota Technician from Haymarket, Virginia & have been flat rate for about 2 years now with lexus/toyota. Drift is my priority, going on my 6th season & im not stopping anytime soon! I spend just about every ounce of effort into working for & with getting myself onto the track.
recap for 2012: Ditched my 1jz S12 setup, aquired an S14 midway through the season, slapped a vvti 1j in it & have been running it hard! Now its all fucked up & its time to make the car look like its mine. Lots of changes coming around as i prep the car for a 2013 pro am drift season. Ive already wrecked the car twice, bent alot of suspension part & have made things better for the car overall. Always looking for improvements within my budget! Aiming for any XDC/SWD/ & any other pro am events i can get on my schedule, along with all Drift Nirvana events in west VA, and hopefully a few up north events including ECB. Continue reading...
This project is a long time coming and I know some have already seen most of it finished.. But I thought I share the project with you guys.
I've been a huge rotary guys for many many years well over 15 years. I've had almost every rotary vehicle imported to USA except R100 and RX4. But a fan of 1993-1995 RX-7, also known as FD RX-7. I have personally owned over 10 FD's and currently own 3... one being this project, which I also call it, my LAST FD I'll ever own.
To start the quest, for over 10 years, I been collecting parts to build the rarest, unique, FD in the country. I been importing parts from Japan to USA with help of some friends for the past 10+ years in hope to build my dream FD. Finally after attending SEMA 2011, I landed a booth spot and gave me a goal to execute the car. Continue reading...
In Nov 09 I bought a Velocity Red 2004 RX-8, completely stock when I bought it and I slowly began to mod it, in Jan 2011 that car got totaled. I liked the RX-8 Chassis so much that I decided to buy another one. I came across a great deal on RX8Club for a very nice and already well modded 2004, the car was up in Chicago, I came to a deal with the owner and had the car shipped down to me in Florida.
Once I had the car I began modding it again and got bit by the mod bug pretty hard this time and it has now turned into an all out build. Continue reading...
